 Before starting Mitchell & Son, I previously worked for British Gas for 10 years. After completing my apprenticeship back in 2010, I was a part of a successful team working around Berkshire and North Hampshire completing Boiler installations and heating system upgrades.

Since leaving to start my own business we have adapted to the evolving world of heating, learning to Install, maintain and repair the latest technologies and have built a foundation of trust with both new and existing customers. 

I  have been working in the gas industry for over 40 years now dealing with everything from breakdowns and servicing to installation of new heating systems. I originally started as an apprentice on Southern Gas before working for various local contractors, before finally spending 30 years working for Reading Council. I took to retirement a few years ago but couldn't resist the opportunity to start a business alongside Christian. Working alongside my son allows me to pass on my knowledge and experience, getting him to do the work so I can keep the customers happy and enjoy a cup of tea.
